CHALLENGE:
Create an employer brand that will encourage people to apply to join the Havering Council team, and make existing employees feel proud to work there. Develop a campaign that communicates the diverse career opportunities available, and how the team puts the people of Havering first.

IDEA:
Meet the challenges that come with a changing world head-on. Find a place where you can be yourself. Where your ambitions, ideas, and opinions bring about real change. Where you’ll focus on your future and the future of your community. Where you can turn your what ifs into why nots? A place you really own your career. Choose to be around people who inspire you and support you. Choose a place where you can really make your mark. Choose a career that changes everyone’s lives for the better. Choose Havering.

I wrote the tone of voice guidelines, recruitment campaign, careers site and employer brand toolkit. As part of this, I interviewed employees, turning soundbites into engaging people stories that lift the lid on what it’s like to work at Havering.
